Our house now is the beautiful home we always wanted.
We just wanted to say thank you for all your help this year. You take a gamble when you choose someone off the internet based on a few pics but the whole project has been fabulous. You have been with us every step of the way - giving us the confidence to go with bold colours - and we are so pleased with the results. We never could have imagined spending so much time at home - Now we are working full time from home I just love everything we have done - our house now is the beautiful home we always wanted and it’s so tailored for our needs.

Friends and family have been wowed by the transformation of our home.
The ground floor of our house had not been refurbished for over 12 years and had become tired and dated. The ground floor consists of a living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, hallway, study and conservatory.
Given the scale of the project, we were aware that we would need assistance with both the interior design and project management of the refurbishment work. Following various meetings with interior designers and project managers, we chose to work with Fawn Interiors as there was clearly a great chemistry between ourselves and Tamsin and Robert who we found to be friendly and full of excellent ideas.
As part of some very productive planning meetings and discussions, it was agreed that the size of our kitchen was not commensurate with the size of the house and the modern way of living whereby the kitchen is a focal point of the house. Robert used his design and construction expertise to show us how we could take space from the study and an unused passageway behind the existing kitchen wall to substantially increase the size of the kitchen. This has enabled us to create a modern kitchen with, amongst other things, a large island with hob and breakfast area. Robert also suggested that we replace the existing single door from the kitchen to the dining room with a set of double sliding pocket doors so that the kitchen and dining room could either be used as an open plan space or the dining room closed off for more intimate dining occasions. This has enabled us to have the best of both worlds and given us great flexibility in the use of the space. Finally, the dining room had a single door onto a patio and Robert showed us how we could replace the single door with elegant french double doors so that the patio can be used for pre-dinner and other entertaining.
We found Tamsin and Robert to be equally imaginative and creative in all other areas of the project and we are extremely pleased with the end result. Friends and family have also been wowed by the transformation of our home with comments such as it looks like it comes from the pages of a magazine.
Both Tamsin and Robert were both hands on and willing to give their time as much as necessary. Tamsin was tireless in locating suitable furnishings from both big ticket items such as sofas and curtains to finishing touches such as rugs and light bulbs. This ensured that the whole of the ground floor was co-ordinated in terms of style and colour and flowed from room to room. Robert closely supervised the work undertaken by the builders, plumbers, electricians and floor layers attending on site to ensure that the work was performed in the agreed manner and to the agreed standard. Robert also designed a bespoke audio visual system which is housed in the living room. The system includes a wall mounted 55" OLED television, amplifier, sub-woofer, sound bar and music throughout the downstairs by means of ceiling speakers. The whole system is encased behind custom-made panelling with integral storage for DVDs, Blu-Rays and CDs so that the system is hidden and does not detract from the elegance of the living room.
Due to additional work and higher specifications in a number of areas, the budget increased but these increases were discussed as and when they arose so that no additional costs were incurred without our prior agreement. Tamsin issued weekly invoices which we appreciated as it meant that our cash flow could be effectively monitored and controlled.
Based on our experience, we are extremely pleased with the work, attitude and commitment of Tamsin and Robert and they would be our first port of call should we decide to have any further work done to our home.

Tamsin and Robert are an unbelievable team. They worked so hard to help us achieve our perfect home and it was undeniably a great success. They understood the image we wanted immediately and we were thrilled to see that even the first mood board they created was near perfect.
Tamsin is great at sourcing the most incredible pieces of furniture we would never have been able to find. We were also so incredibly happy with the bespoke wardrobe doors for our bedroom and study work space that Robert designed and commissioned for us. The attention to detail was appreciated and the final products are two of our favourites in the house. They make our house feel truly unique and special.

Essentially a ‘large firm’ skill set, but with a personal touch.
We moved into a Victorian vicarage in Oxfordshire that has heaps of potential but had been over-modernised and inconsistently maintained. With neither of us being particularly creative or practical types, we needed someone to help us to realise its full character.
We met a number of interior design firms, but Tamsin and Rob at Fawn really stood out. Their combination of an eye for design, with the practical & project management skills to make the whole thing happen, were exemplary. Essentially a ‘large firm’ skill set, but with a personal touch.
They did not disappoint.
After an initial consultation they helped us iterate to a look and feel that was right for us. They managed all aspects of the project, spanning design, sourcing materials, sourcing fixtures and fittings, screening tradesmen, and then overseeing all aspects of their work. Finally, they helped with all the little finishing touches that really make a room come together.
We think the result is stunning, but what really impressed us is how we got there. They made the complex straightforward. Design choices were expertly distilled for us to select from. Phasing, scheduling and all administrative tasks happened seamlessly in the background. Communication was timely and clear at every stage. The odd niggle (not of Fawn’s making) was tenaciously chased down.
Really impressive stuff.
