WHAT WE DO
Our talented team of designers and CAD technicians can oversee your bespoke interiors project from concept to completion, offering:
INTERIOR SPACE PLANNING - designing the flow to make the most of your space and preparing floor plans.
PLANNING PERMISSION - preparing plans, attending pre-approval meetings, submitting plans, and liaising with Building Regulations throughout the project.
INTERIOR DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE - mood boards, lighting and electrical design, joinery design, furniture design, bespoke AV systems, wall and floor finishes, furniture and accessories sourcing, art procurement and curation.
CONSTRUCTION - producing working drawings, managing contract tendering, sub-contractor and trade selection, and managing the trades throughout the renovation to ensure a premium finish is achieved.
OUR DESIGN PROCESS
INITIAL MEETING & THE BRIEF
Our initial meeting at the property is to understand your brief, including budgets, time scale and specific requirements. We also look at any potential structural improvements to your home to see if these could increase your enjoyment of the space.
We then prepare a letter of appointment and a terms & conditions contract. For large projects we use ID/10 issued by the BIID which sets out both of our responsibilities.
INITIAL DESIGN PROPOSALS
Once the signed letter of appointment has been returned, initial design concepts are developed - we prepare general inspirational mood boards covering the entire project for your approval. You will receive 2 concepts to choose from.
DEVELOPMENT OF DESIGN PROPOSALS
Based on the concept moodboard that you choose, we progress to a detailed mood board for each room which starts to look at more specific colours, fixtures, fittings and fabrics. Layout plans are also produced, incorporating budget estimates and project scheduling. The work involved at this stage also includes meetings with planning consultants and structural engineers where necessary.
PLANNING - WHERE APPLICABLE
We attend pre-approval meetings and tailor plans to achieve the best result possible at the full planning stage. Plans are then submitted for approval (usually a 6 week process).
FURNITURE, FIXTURES & EQUIPMENT (FF&E)
We order furniture and arrange delivery, coordinating delivery times with the project completion date.
TENDERING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Once approval is received, contracts are put out to tender or we will make recommendations from our pool of trusted suppliers. Once work commences, regular site visits are carried out to co-ordinate with building contractors, trades etc, ensuring the best work possible.
FINISHING & INTERIOR STYLING
When everything is done, we arrange a deep clean of your home and style it for you. It is at this point that we also photograph the project for our portfolio.
