How To : Use Teal in Your Interiors

We believe in keeping an eye on the trends but not following them to a t, as it's important to create your own look which won't date easily. Saying that, one trend (colour) for autumn we can get behind is the colour 'teal'. A warm colour, somewhere between blue and green, but more earthy than turquoise, teal works in so many rooms, either as a standout feature or as an accent. We've found a few ways to work teal into your interiors.

We love the teal painted panelling and fireplace in the background and then the layering of the teal chairs. What also works well in this room is the pop of pink flowers, providing a playful contrast.

For maximum impact, invest in a large piece of teal furniture, like this 'snuggler' sofa by Arlo and Jacob, which really sits well within this gorgeously moody interior.

Oh, that wallpaper caught my eye, with the little fish from the abyss. Teal is a colour I’d like to explore once I lose my fear of colour. Step by step :-)
